Watch this Honda Factory video of the 1992 FireBlade in action.

CBR900RR FireBlade
1992-2003

16-valve, DOHC, liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder

All new Honda superbike for 1992. The first generation CBR900RR was introduced with a 893cc in-line 4-cylinder engine, it set a precedent for light weight in the superbike class.

This all-new model was based on long-term advanced research with the objective of creating the ultimate Superbike. Developed by senior Honda engineer Tadao Baba with his mandate of light weight and user-friendly power, a concept that still rings true some 30 years later.

The CBR900RR FireBlade won many International awards during its time and remains in production today, albeit as the now CBR1000RR FireBlade.
