You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda.
c.1962

In the early 1960s the Grey Advertising Agency of America was commissioned by American Honda to create an ad campaign to change the face of motorcycling, an image at the time of leather clad James Dean style motorcycling!

The 'You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda' campaign was born and became a regular advertisement, in different formats, in print and on TV throughout the 1960s and 70s.

The campaign became adopted by other Honda distributors in many countries, including Japan.

Today, this campaign is known as the most successful ad campaign in motorcycling history and is still used as a case example for students studying in the advertising industry.

Featuring...
C100 Super Cub
