CB1100R
1981-83

1062cc, 16-valve, DOHC, air-cooled, In-line 4-cylinder

Based on the CB900F, the CB1100R was an exotic race ready model that was produced in limited numbers from 1981 to 1983.

Initially a single-seat, half faired sport bike the R suffix denoted a racing version, however the CB1100R was a road-legal machine offered for general sale.

Produced only in numbers sufficient to meet homologation requirements for production racing, the R was Honda's first 'homologation special' and was raced very successfully in production class racing in most major markets. However, it was not formally sold in the USA!
