CB250RS
1980-83

249cc, 1-cylinder, OHC, 4-valve, 5-speed

A 250cc sports-styled motorcycle designed for road use. Featuring a high-compression four-stroke, four-valve, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, based on the earlier XL250S engine. The RS was known for its slim build, low weight of only 128kg, and positive handling. The engine featured counter rotating balancers, which reduced vibration.

The first CB250RS-A models were kick-start only. Fitted with a front disc brake and rear drum brake on spoke wheels to alloy rims. Whilst only a single cylinder engine it confused onlookers with twin port exhaust pipes!
